Sugar Taylor Sauce was created in an emergency when we found we didn’t have any barbecue sauce in the house to feed the hoard of neighbors headed over in under an hour. And the rest is history.
After making the sauce to refill neighbors’ Mason jars for nearly two years, we finally started packaging and sharing it with the world. Originally a BBQ sandwich topping, it quickly became the secret ingredient in many smoked meat recipes and ultimately on a myriad of dishes including roasted chicken, holiday hams, and so many weeknight favorites and even a dipping sauce for after school snacks.
