REYER FARMS

Reyer Farms is a family farm that strives to exceed every expectation you have for beef. They raise grass fed heritage beef as well as specialty produce for the local fresh market. Their beef is custom cut and dry aged for quality and a consistently satisfying flavor. Uniquely, Reyer Farms raises beef exclusively from Pineywoods cattle, a Spanish Criollo breed brought to the Americas in the 1500’s. Shaped by the natural environment of the Deep South, these cattle thrive in the hot and humid weather to yield a remarkable beef experience.

PINEYWOODS CATTLE // Pineywoods cattle were brought to the New World by the Spanish explorers in the 1500s. These hardy cattle thrived for centuries in the the Deep South foraging in the open woods, green pastures and native scrub. Our Pineywoods Cattle are a rare landrace breed designed by their environment to be gentle on the land and to be a good steward of the natural resources. The beef is a lean quality with a naturally beefy flavor that is delicious.

Happy cows and better land result in better beef. All Reyer Farms beef is raised in such a way to insure a consistent quality of life for the animal and consistent quality of product for their customers and their own family. Beef harvested at the right time and the right way- every time. Beef dry aged to remarkable tenderness and rich flavor is the standard of better beef. Reyer Farms raises beef to be BETTER BEEF!

“We started with the idea that our farm could build relationships with families and provide them a connection with the land and the farmer. Our focus on quality has never strayed and our commitment to preserving the family farm for future generations is instilled in our children and the families we serve. We have never been a retail business, but worked to be a service for others. We are honored to be your farmer.” —Jody Reyer
