Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Made from the finest corn, rye and barley malt, this whiskey ages in new oak barrels for years in century old warehouses until the peak of maturity. The taste is rich and complex, with hints of vanilla, toffee and candied fruit. The smooth finish lingers on the palate. This will never change.
Craft Distilled by Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley and his dedicated team at Buffalo Trace Distillery, Wheatley Vodka is made in small batches using Harlen’s one of a kind micro-still and a unique recipe of wheat and other grains.
Distilled a total of 10 times, triple filtered, and bottled at 82 proof, this artisanal vodka has a clean, crisp, and fresh taste. The wheat base offers a delicate and balanced flavor profile. The wheat recipe is cooked, fermented, and distilled seven times on the micro-still before being married with a recipe made from other grains and distilled an additional three times.
Pure and crisp on the nose. The fresh and clean taste finishes with hint of soft vanilla.

Standing today as the oldest continuously operating distillery in America, Buffalo Trace Distillery has been making whisky for more than 200 years, even continuing through Prohibition distilling for “medicinal purposes.” Designated as a National Historic Landmark, Buffalo Trace is the most award-winning Distillery in the world, garnering more than 300 awards for its wide range of premium whiskies.
Still American family owned and located in Franklin County, Kentucky, the distillery’s rich history includes such legendary distillers as E.H. Taylor, Jr, George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp and Elmer T. Lee. The distillery sprawls impressively over 130 acres and is home to four centuries of architecture – all still fully operational.
Few have earned the right to be called Master Distiller, but since Harlen Wheatley came to Buffalo Trace, he’s been making some of the best whiskey in the world. Following in the footsteps of greats like Taylor, Stagg, Blanton and Lee, Harlen’s dedication to time-honored traditions and ground-breaking innovation, have already become legendary. And as it turns out, he doesn’t just craft award-winning bourbon, but he crafts a smooth, top shelf vodka as well – that landed his name on the bottle! Have you tried his Wheatley Vodka yet? If not, you should!
Wonderful neat, over ice or in mixed cocktails, the Buffalo Trace brands are premium and always a pleasure to drink.
