Family farms are being crushed by low profit margins. In fact, the the share of the food dollar making its way back to the farmers’ pockets is at an all time low. How can your farm thrive in this economic time? Through this workshop, EATYALL will equip you to sell to restaurants then connect you to chefs who can purchase your products and help you grow your bottom line while benefiting their restaurant in a positive way. There’s not a better time than now to tap in to the buying power of chefs committed to thoughtful sourcing. They’re looking for better ingredients – ingredients your farm is producing. Workshop Dates and Locations

There are two opportunities to attend an upcoming EATYALL Specialty Producer Workshop in Mississippi: 

  • February 10, 2020 in Tupelo, Mississippi.
  • February 12, 2020 in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Exact locations will be provided after registration. Because these workshops are made possible by the Specialty Crop Marketing Grant, to be eligible to attend, you must currently grow or be considering production of a specialty crop in Mississippi. In addition, you must complete a short mandatory survey after registration.

What to Bring to the Workshop

The day will be chock-full of learning and opportunities to connect and develop sales relationships with chefs. To make the most of of your experience, we strongly suggest bringing plenty of business cards and 5~ copies of your foodservice pricing list if you have one.

Program Cost

Thanks to funding made possibly by the USDA’s Specialty Crop Marketing Grant program administered by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture & Commerce, this set of EATYALL Producer Workshop Series is FREE to attendees to grow or are considering production of a specialty crop inside the state of Mississippi.
