This fall, Eat Y’all will host four stops in four states in their 2018 CONNECT Dinner series fall tour presented by The Dairy Alliance to celebrate and honor Southern farms and producers. Each event will benefit a local charity.
We asked one of founders, Marianna Chapman, to share her thoughts:
“CONNECTION is fundamental to our human existence. Connection to the land nourishes us and provides for us. Connection to one another helps us gain perspective, appreciation and empathy as humans. In the case of the CONNECT Dinners, each attendee will pull up a chair to a shared table, enjoy the bounty of our land and waters and gain a deeper understanding of the hard work of our farmers, producers and chefs. In this context, we can go on to share their work with others and in doing so help create a sustainable future for our world.”
Kicking Things Off
The destination dining series kicked off on Tuesday, September 25 at Leiper’s Fork Distillery near Franklin, Tennessee with special guest Bongo Java Roasting Company on hand to unveil a new project collaboration. Chefs Dylan Morrison from 1892 in Leiper’s Fork and Bill Briand from Fisher’s in Orange Beach, Alabama have prepared a dynamite menu for guests to enjoy.
Additional locations include:
- Heron Pointe at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama with menu prepared by Chefs David Pan, Alex Perry and Jordan Hewes.
- Star Hill Provisions at Maker’s Mark Distillery near Bardstown, Kentucky with menu prepared by Chefs Newman Miller and Jonathan Searle

Each all-inclusive, multi-course dinner will have a unique tone and setup and will feature a menu highlighting local and regional producers as well as libations, tax and tip for ticket price.
Come join us at one of our locations this fall to celebrate the future of Southern food at a destination dining experience you’ll not soon forget.
