About Mary-Susan Asters
Originally from Northeast Mississippi, MarySusan loves good food and her family jokes that her relationship with her husband formed over a mutual love of eating out and local restaurants. She has a deep love affair with dessert and rarely eats out without getting something sweet. MarySusan grew up around livestock and cowboys, spending much of her youth on her grandparent’s ranch. She grew up riding ponies bareback, walking rabbits on leashes and bottle-feeding calves. Today, her brother carries on the family’s cowboy heritage training and showing American Quarter Horses on the Cutting Horse Circuit while MarySusan makes the circuit corralling good stories and good eats from farm to table around the South.
