As I write this, the temps outside across the Southern U.S. are too cold for comfort, but Eat Y’all has a schedule that’s heating up as we plan our year of live appearances, cooking demos, sampling events and more around the South.
We spent last week at America’s Mart in Atlanta, GA for the 2015 International Gift & Home Furnishings Market sharing our partner’s products with retailers and hospitality industry representatives from around the world. We left with a laundry list of invitations for appearances that span a variety of festivals, grand openings and open houses across the Southern U.S. and beyond. We can’t wait to light our Gourmet Guru Grills in locations from Texas to South Carolina this upcoming year and share the bounty of our Southern foods including some of our personal favorites: peanuts, catfish, pork, shrimp and rice.
Our recipe list for our demos is coming along nicely, and depending on where you see us, it might include a tutorial on making “The Perfect Rack of Ribs” to baking Cast Iron Biscuits to making your own Sweet & Spicy Jerky to Quick & Easy Shrimp Skewers over Rice Grits to The World’s Best PB&J (hint: it’s grilled). We’ve even got some tricks up our sleeves like Smoked Tomato Salad and a lesson on “How to Grill Fruit.”
Sign up here for our email updates and be sure to follow us to Real Good Food on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook – look up the username “letseatyall”. This will help you follow us in the Eat Y’all Truck and Mobile Kitchen to a community near you and track our progress across the South – and beyond!
Want to host Eat Y’all in your community or business for a demo event? Or do you have a great story about Real Good Food that you’d like us to share with our readers here on the blog or on our podcast? Please contact us here to submit a request, and we’ll be in touch soon.
Happy New Year!
