Just last month, 1908 Provisions opened in the old Sophia’s space at The Fairview Inn in Jackson’s historic Belhaven neighborhood. And wow, the transformation is a must-see. Inspired by a sunny California, the upholstered furniture, light walls and low light leave you relaxed and wanting to linger over just one more sip of wine or bite of one of the exquisite dessert offerings. The menu, created by Executive Chef Gary Hawkins, fuses West Coast food influence uniquely with Southern flavors using locally-sourced ingredients for an approachable, yet inspiring menu.
Our first visit to 1908 Provisions entranced all of our senses. We can’t wait to experience it again – this time, with you!
On March 18, Chefs Gary Hawkins and Ryan Bell will personally present a four-course special Chef’s Menu offered exclusively to our readers. A wine pairing for the menu as well as full bar will be available at the event. Best of all, the chefs will be on hand to answer questions about the dinner, the new restaurant and more.
